Captain Zorikh Social Distance Music Break #9: The 3-Chord Monte Goes to...

The Three Chord Monte Goes to the Beach!
Captain Z's latest Socially distant Music Madness!

The thing about Trump is...

Here's what it is (and I have said this before): He doesn't really know the details of what he is talking about, but he knows the keywords regarding it, and the reaction he wants to get, so he throws together an extempore word soup that includes just the right keywords to make it sound (in his mind) like he knows what he is talking about.

That creates three groups of people:
1. The people who use the keywords to assume he said something they don't like.
2. The people who use the keywords to assume he said the same thing, and they like it.
3. The people who defend him against the first group by parsing the statement to show that he didn't really say what you think he said (and BTW, I have never seen the people in this group explain this to the people in the second group).

And when called out on it, he will either double-down, deny he said it, or change the subject.

So the important thing is not whether or not he said what you think he said, it's that he creates an environment where we debate what he said on several levels instead of dealing with the actual issue.

That is not what I want in my president, and I am displeased enough with his "accomplishments" to not give him a pass on it.

Captain Zorikh's Social Distance Music Break #6

In the effort to make the next half-hour of your quarantine more tolerable, here is "Captain Zorikh's Socially Distant Music Break" from two weeks ago. There were some technical difficulties that I edited out of this video, but I just slammed my way through the songs to make the most of the opportunity.

Songs include "Johnny B. Goode of the Lower East Side," "I'm a Believer," "You Got Me," "Every Step You Take," and "Bound for Brooklyn," all with guitar and harmonica in up-tempo, rockabilly, Three Chord Monte style!

The next one of these "Music Breaks" is scheduled for Wednesday, 3:00 - 3:30 PM.

My Mom, Jayne Berrier, talks about her mom's boyfriends and more (wow!)

Here is the first of what I intend to be a series of videos of my mom talking about her life.

This started extemporaneously when she started talking about how I got good hair DNA, that my her mom's hair went white like mine has, and that she was a very good looking women with a lot of "admirers."

This line of discussion started to get juicy, so I whipped out the camera phone and...
